<p>Accepted at Exeter, I got the email around 5:45… How are y’all doing?</p>
<p>My condolences to all those who have been rejected or WL’d. I felt the pain of WL which eventually became rejection last year and it was terrible. But it passes. There’s life outside of Exeter and their decision isn’t a reflection on you. It’s what they want. Even if you’re a parachuting violinist, maybe they needed an underwater tuba player instead and that’s why you got WL’d or rejected.</p>

<p>It was a harder year than usual for admits to Exeter, especially, I suspect, for new lowers because last year’s prep class was overenrolled. My heart goes out to all of you…life will go on and unfold in its own wonderful way for all of you, I promise!</p>
<p>How many lowers did they accept? I would have never thought that i would be accepted to Exeter and especially a hard year for lower applications. Am I the only one that has watched the video like 20 times?!?!</p>
<p>Posted on the other thread, but quickly here…oys, not girls, were overenrolled in last year’s class. Exact numbers aren’t released yet–check the Exonian in a couple weeks; sometimes they’ll report the stats there. </p>
