hey everyone
im probably going to be going to exeter next year, seeing that i got in! it was at the bottom of my list (andover, hotchkiss & lawrenceville, taft, exeter) but now that i got in, i'm reconsidering. i'm waitlisted for andover and i dont think i'm gonna be able to get in so exeter seems to be my choice!!

so all of you that got into exeter...post! and i'll see you next year (i hope)! i'm so excited!

Hoping to get in Exeter from waitlist

on a side note, is it possible to get from waitlist to acceptance? Or is it just their polite way of saying "Sorry, you were good, but failed in the end."

oh, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just rejected from there, and it was the only school I applied to. But I'm glad someone else gets to go that magnificent school. Really, congratulations!!!

and for everyone else:

I was rejected as well, but congrats to all of you that got in. I'm sure you all really, really deserve you're spots. If you choose to go you're headed to an amazing school.

Congrats to all of you who got in!
Exeter's a great place.

I'm a freshman (prep) at Exeter and remember all the things I wanted to know about it when I was thinking about going, so if anybody has any questions feel free to PM me.

cOllide: i got accepted for ninth grade too!
katcharken: even if u dont go for exeter, a lot of other great schools have rolling applications, too!

Just found out i got into Exeter. My first choice so I'm most likely going. Congrats to all that got in and for those who didn't you can always go for rolling admissions or apply next year.

Yeah, it's true that the size is huge. On the other hand, this allows Exeter to have more resources available to the student body. The maximum class size at Exeter is also 12 students in a discussion, so you never feel left out. I've never felt that the size affected my experience negatively at all.
