Sac, I am now a junior member too. Is it a high score thing? :0

Limon--

My D didn't take T o K. So does the tree make a sound?

hmmm if only i was a parent...then i could post in the parents thread and raise my post count to become an 'addicted member' - there should be some sort of different ranking for us crazies who post continuously (well, with the 60 second thing...) or just something that measures the proximity of the posts in time and gives an 'average waiting period btween posts' or something...ok shut me up

I aspire to be goddess here as well.:D I am trying to figure out what the magic number is that moves you up a step. Anyone know?

No.
To sum up what was essentially a Socratic discussion, sound is defined as what we can hear (we don't hear waves and particles), and therefore, if there is nothing that hears, there is no sound - only frequencies of wavelengths.

I can also clap with one hand =)

If you are Brit, you thump on the table, so you CAN clap with one hand. As for the Socratic discussion, the only audience that counts is the CC moderators. They're there lurking invisibly in the forest of posts.
