Existing student's opinions of LMU?

I am an international student looking to attend either USC, UCLA or LMU. Would any current students share their views/opinions/thoughts on studying at LMU and living in the area in general?

Is it a good university in your opinion?
What are the professors like? (I will be studying business if I do attend)
What's it like living in the area? (Isn't LAX quite close by?)
What's the social aspect like?
How much of a presence does religion have on the campus? I'm not religious so I dont think I would like a huge religious presence...having said that, I'm not against it at all!
What are the job prospects like after graduating? I'm hoping to get involved with the entertainment industry (music specifically). Are there these sort of internship opportunities available whilst studying? I know there isnt a "Music Industry" major which is a bit unfortunate but what do you think my chances of securing some sort of work experience in this field even without a specific Music Industry degree?

I havent seen the campus, but I've heard its really nice with great views over the sea!

Thanks guys!

bump…

I went to LMU and then stayed on as a teaching fellow in the english dept. -
It was really nice. The professors are good, many are excellent and the school is small enough that they know you if you are in a class with them. i have even had them invite groups of students over for dinner. It is very close to the airport - but it does not affect your experience at all. The campus is safe and clean and the palm trees and views and weather are fabulous.
religion is a factor only in that 1)you have to take 2 religion courses - which to be honest, I dreaded, but i am glad i did as they were super interesting 2) some of the professors are priests and nuns. I only had two as profs in my 6 years there (I got a Masters degree).
the people are friendly but i don’t know much about the social life as I grew up 20 minutes from the school so did not live in the dorms and hung out with my childhood friends. I only became close friends with a few people but had lots of fun, friendly acquaintances on campus. It was an amazing and wonderful experience and a fantastic education.
