Unlike the SAT, is there an experimental section on the ACT?
God, I hope not.

Unless you're taking the June test, then no...

phew thank god.

the june test had an experimental section? i didn't see it... i took writing, so does that have an effect on if i have the exp. section or not?

^ Bingo. While everyone else took the experimental section, you took the writing section.

ohh, ok.. what was the experimental section? did it suck pretty badly?

^ From what I've heard, it's pretty much just a random section of the ACT only sometimes harder, sometimes easier than the real thing, but it's always random. Someone might get English and another might get math.

oh, so it's kind of like the SAT exp. section (except, on the SAT one, you have no idea which section it is, right?)

No, I think that the experimental section is always the last one. They take it while you are taking the writing section, which is at the end of the test.

The experimental section is always last. It is shorter than a normal test, and is only given to non-writing takers on the June ACT test.
