Expected Math, Reading, and Writing Curves for May 2011 SAT

What do you guys think? Let's see how accurate some of our posters on CC are...
I remember the math section was not too bad, but some had trouble with it... average curve.

The writing was slightly easier than the one I took in March, and the essay was an easier question... maybe a harsher curve.

The reading, however, was quite a bit harder than the one in March (and previous tests, I hear). I'm hoping for a generous curve on this section..

Anyone have any opinions? IDK how the raw #'s work, but if anybody wants to include numbers in their post, go for it! 3 more days!!!

I think the math curve will be harsh…maybe -1 equals 780?
Writing as well…
The CR was pretty hard this time around, so I’m hoping it’ll be generous. -3 equals 800?

You mean for June SATs right?

Math- harsh curve
writing- harsh-medium curve
CR- forgiving-medium curve

^yes, for the June SAT’s.
I probably did the worst in math…and the curve is harsh…

Math was above average difficulty, but easier than March’s -1 790 test, so the curve will be between that and average. CR was definately tougher than March’s -2 780/-3 740 test. Writing (grammar) was easy except for the paragraph revision (***). The essay was easy.

I’m gonna say that these will be the curves for 10 raw points lost. Yes ik I didn’t put 0’s.

Math: 80, 78, 76, 74, 72, 71, 70, 69, 68, 67, 66
CR: 80, 80, 80, 79, 77, 75, 74, 73, 71, 70, 69
W Grammar: 80, 78, 75, 73, 71, 69, 68, 67, 65, 64, 63
With 12 Essay: 80, 80, 79, 77, 76, 74, 73, 72, 71, 70, 69

rraghuraman, that sounds pretty solid for this test. good prediction.

I really hope that CR prediction is right.

I think the math will have a curve similar to jan’s. I felt that June’s math was easier or about the same as Janurary’s. Janurary’s was -1 770, -2 740, etc.

Let’s all pretend that there’ll be extremely easy curves so we can sleep tonight and tomorrow night hahahaha

It looks like I was pretty much dead on for Math and Critical Reading.
