So i am in a huge situation right now and have no idea what to do...

I attended a private university, first of all that is extremely relevant...

Now a female student came forth and accused me of having sex with her against her will... to make a long story short the case was extremely biased i was put through a kangaroo court of judicial procedures and after they refused to interview key people that were in attendance that night expelled me from the institution...

now the Attorney General's office has dismissed her claims with the police department claiming them as ludicrous and defamatory but because they are a private institution they will not rescind their expulsion from my transcripts and i sit here unable to go on with my education and life because of something that i would never in my life do...

what the hell do i do? i am at a loss, nowhere will take me because i am not in good standing with my prior institution... how do i put the pieces of my life back together? please somebody help me

Did you have sex with this girl? Was she inebriated/not sober due to alcohol or various drugs? Because if yes to both, I can’t help you. As far as I’m concerned if you did have sex with her, and unless she explicitly told you it was okay, then you did indeed rape her.

If you’ve never slept with this girl, then do as irishevan99 says. But realize that if you did have sex with her, and she says you raped her, things don’t look good for you, with good reason.

The whole point is that i never engaged in intercourse with this girl. It was a night when we were all partying and i understand the gravity of her accusation within a college community> but this lieing possibly ruined the rest of my life, due to the fact that she was jealous that i had feelings for her best friend…

We live in a world where a girl can falsely cry rape and ruin an entire persons life then when its deemed as… i have to pick up the pieces to my shattered life while she goes unscathed… I cant get into school anywhere i cant continue my life…

i have consulted a lawyer and no attorney wants to go after a private university because its too sticky, and i dont have the resources to hire a top notch lawyer that could win me a case…

so again im back at square one because not even lawyers can help me…

how long do i have to wait till my transcripts from the institution i was expelled from expire?
or any other advice?

Read all you can about the Lacrosse team at Duke accused of raping a hired stripper for a frat party…and how the boys were eventually vindicated…

Wow. Firstly- there’s no need to call names. Several things could be the case:

You really were just partying, and she was raped and doesn’t remember who it was, but pointed her finger at you. She could have been drugged since you were “partying” and been completely out of any real awareness. If this is the case, it is odd that she would point to you, if you are as innocent as you purport.

If you can’t remember part of the night, then I would again say, this is not good. If you were partying, and you ‘fooled around’ then again, I am inclined to believe her and not you. You don’t have to have had sex with her to have done something wrong that night, and again, it may be that you’re innocent.

But something clearly made her say she was raped and it certainly wasn’t for funsies or to get a kick out of messing with you. I highly doubt that it was actually because she was just “jealous”

I’m not saying you really did do it. I can’t prove that. I am saying that someone may have actually raped her, and calling her crude names is needless, even if they are *** out

Boseballa - I have no advice for you other than, I’ve been there. A false accusation cost me a job that I loved. My name was in the papers and on the news. I left town and started all over. It sucked. We do live in a society that places an assumption of guilt on those charges. Again - no advice. I’m just sorry this happens.

I really hope this is a ■■■■■. Any decent lawyer would take the case for the publicity it would get them, and further more, I think this entire thread is making my stomach turn…

If he didn’t do it, he has every darn right to be calling names. Yurtle, don’t know why you are taking sides here when no one knows what happened.

But since neither of us know whether or not he DID do it, or whether or not she was really raped- as I said, she could have been, and just pointed to the first person she remembered from that night…
Then it’s unecessary. And since I said I’m NOT taking sides, only walking through what I know to be possibilities, there is no need to tell me that either.

The fact that the public criminal system found him innocent to the point where no criminal charges were pressed means that he probably didn’t do it, especially in this kind of case where trials are conducted too often.

This is a serious situation that requires the help of an attorney, not help from an Internet message board. Also, anything posted here by the OP could be used in a court of law. Consequently, I’m closing this thread.
