I'm taking a lot of AP classes this year (AP Macroeconomics, AP French, AP Psychology, AP Physics, AP European History, AP Calculus). And I think I could do well on all of them (maybe not Physics). But it is so expensive! It costs around $90 to take each test at my school (I don't know if it's any different at other schools) and I don't qualify for financial aid. So some of my peers, those who do qualify for financial aid, get to take the test for $6. (The injustice!) I may not qualify for financial aid but it's still a burden. I'm not rich or anything. Anyway, I heard that if you don't take the AP tests it looks bad for colleges. The only thing keeping me from taking the tests is money.

Take them!! Even though it may seem expensive, its still cheaper than a college course that may cost 500 to 600 dollars per course at a public institute. And with a private one the price is even higher!!!! If you do well on these exams its worth the 84ish dollars you pay for them.

i agree that taking the tests would help you save money in the long run, just try to get help from friends or family. I count my blessings that my county only requires me to only pay for one ap test while all the rest are paid for since i am taking four this year.
