Experience Fordham

So is anyone else going to Experience Fordham? I have always wanted to visit New York and Fordham and now to do so for free is awesome.

My daughter is going! What a nice offer!

Can you tell me, were you admitted EA or did you apply RD?

i applied RD, but received a likely letter.

Ya I really want to go! I’m just trying to convince my parents. Do you know if it’s just for students or both? The invite didn’t really say much.

What is it?

monoclide, it is a chance for students to tour the campus, reside in dormitories. and see new york
confusedjunior. i doubt it includes your parents as they wont be accompanying you to college next year, but to know for sure, you can email peter farrell

How did you hear about this chance? I got a card in the mail yesterday, but it sounded more like if you just happened to be in town? Is this free as in free airfare??

Confusedjunior, I emailed and the guy said parents were welcome but Fordham would only pay your expenses.

Megan, my offer came with a letter saying it was Experience Fordham and more…

I’m pretty sure I’m going! I’m super excited!

What is a likely letter? And who is LIKELY to get them?

megan09, i got a card in the mail and a formal letter and yes it is free as in free airfare. You buy your flights and provide them with receipts and they will reimburse you
txkate, cant wait to see you there
reenieg, it is a letter stating one is likely to be accepted for admission and only the elite applicants receive them

Is experience Fordham only for outside the East Coast?

My son also received the invitation to this event. It is a very generous offer and should be a great weekend. I will be flying with him but staying someplace in the city. I do intend to do a tour of the campus while we are there and was told that this will be available on Sunday. (He applied EA and has been admitted to the Business School.)

Fineform, I live in Florida
