Hey Huskies!
Does anyone have any experience living in a learning living community, specifically Engineering? I read about them on the UW website, but the information is pretty vague and generic. For instance, does it mean you take an extra class or two (I know that’s how it is at some other schools)? Are there engineering-related activities/events? Is it just a way for you to get to know other engineers so you can study together for your pre-engineering classes?
Specifically for the engineering one, do you know if it’s also a social environment or is it extremely quiet? I do value putting academics first and would like to focus on that, but I also want to be living with people who like to take a break and relax, go to games, etc.
Any thoughts?
