"A complete signed copy of your parents' 2010 federal income tax return, including all required schedules and all partnership or corporate returns, is required if your parents filed or will file a tax return for 2010. Do not send tax worksheets unless required for submission to the IRS. Do not send state tax returns or previous years' returns unless you are specifically instructed to."

What exactly are tax worksheets?

My parents run small businesses and their income tax return consists of Profit or Loss from Business (Schedule C), Itemized Deductions (Schedule A), Self Employment Tax, and Making Work Pay Credit (Schedule M). Do we send all of this in the package?

On the IDOC cover sheet there's a list of bubbles to fill for the documents we're enclosing. There's no option for Schedule M. In addition, we have papers that are labeled: State and Local Income Tax Refunds, Taxable State and Local Income Tax Refunds, Refunds Attributable to Est. Tax Paid Following Yr Statement, Self-Employed Health Insurance Deduction Worksheet, Federal Tax Income Witheld, State and Local Income Taxes, Car and Truck Expenses, Other Costs of Goods Sold, Other Adjustments, and non-Farm Income.

All of ^ that I mentioned, do any of those belong in the package?
The papers look spaced out compared to pages 1 and 2 of the tax income return sheets, larger text, and in courier font if this helps.

Thank you! :)
My parents weren't born in the US and I'm the first and only child going off to college, so help is appreciated from the experienced IDOC'ers.
