Explain how QuestBridge works

I got the information about QuestBridge in the mail recently, and it said the deadline is at the end of September. So if I apply through QuestBridge, am I using QB instead of ED?

The deadline between QB and ED/EA are so close, and I don't know how QB exactly works. Is QB same thing as applying early except you are getting financial aid?

Also, am I applying to be part of QB and if yes, how many people gets to part of this?

1) Read the first thread in this forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/questbridge-programs/859928-presentation-questbridge-programs.html</a></p>

2) Follow the links in that thread, read the QB website.

Read through that and this: [QuestBridge National College Match Program](http://www.questbridge.org/students/program.html)
Quick answer to your question: It’s earlier than ED/EA. You find out beginning of Dec. You can apply to a total of 8 ED through QuestBridge as oppose to 1 regularly. You rank your choices, and the topmost choice that accepts you are “matched” with you. Meaning you must go to that matched college.
