Explain why I didn't switch major at current school?

I’ve been studying business at a public university for the past almost two years and I’m applying to a particular liberal arts major (has nothing to do with business) to some pretty competitive colleges. Just in terms of admissions, is it a problem that I didn’t switch out of business into my new major at my current college? I didn’t switch because our liberal arts division is not nearly as strong as our business school, but now I’m worried that this would undermine my reasons for transferring.

Is this a problem? Do I need to explain my decision not to switch majors at my current school in the application? Thanks!
