Hi guys! So I'm a junior, and when I was working on my resume recently for a contest, I realized that several of my activities abruptly stop after my sophomore year. There are three of these activities, all affiliated with my local paper, and which were canceled when the paper needed to make budget cuts. How should I (or even should I at all) go about explaining this on applications? I don't want colleges to think that I just quit, especially since these were some of my favorite activities. This may be kind of paranoid, so hopefully you guys can humor me! Thanks!

Include some reference like-- “worked on local paper during the two years apprentice program for teens existed”, or some such explanation.

^Yeah, that sounds good. Just let them know you participated in the opportunity as long as possible.
