Explaining a class level change?

<p>I switched from ap chem to regular chem. Should i explain this in the UC additional comments section? I earned a C in ap chem(only because i switched into regular chem, otherwise i would have had a D) and it was affecting my other classes (c in ap calc and physics...:(. im retaking physics though, UCs take the retaken grade. And I am continuing ap calc because i understand the material. I was just stressed because of the D:/</p>

<p>is 'I switched into regular chem from ap chem because i did not feel as if I could succeed in that class and it was affecting my other classes' okay to put in additional comments? By the way i am not applying as a science major if that helps.</p>

<p>I don’t think you need to explain that. It’s pretty much the explanation I’d come to on my own. You need to explain when there are extenuating circumstances that the admissions committee wouldn’t otherwise know.</p>
