<p>the backdoor link began working on monday for me and that was the day that usc sent my admission packet
i live in nor cal and i recieved it today!

<p>I changed to forwarded yesterday after being reviewed since January. Still no luck with any of the links though.</p>

<p>The backdoor link says it is “logged” and for admitted students only. Is there any issue with checking this before package received? Status is currently “being reviewed…will notify by April 1.”</p>

<p>This had been the path those in the previous waves took before they got accepted. So I’m almost positive that if the backdoor links work, and all your information is filled out, you are in.</p>
<p>Congrats to all who have made it so far. My daughter and I are absolutely going crazy not knowing. USC is her only choice. I’ve been following you all for about 3 days now but don’t understand the ‘backdoor’ stuff. The basic links worked for me but I didn’t click on anything as it does say logged. She’s in committee review at the moment. Should I try and click on the 3 backdoor links? If the info is filled out does that mean she’s probably in? I feel sick with worry … help please!</p>

<p>I’m still confused by the whole back door link thing, but interestingly I loaded FIREFOX, (you kids are so dang brillant) and when I went to check my d’s status on there the option for current, prospective, admitted students was a drop down I had not seen before. But of course, they didn’t work we got an invalid log-in or unauthorized user.</p>

<p>hahaha Firefox is a web browser just like “internet explorer” “safari” etc. etc. Firefox 3.0 is not a ‘supported’ browser by the USCONNECT portal so it makes you use the USC Camel website for everything. On the drop down tab if you select “admitted students” from there you can check Enrollment Deposit and RSVP for admitted students day. If they work your probably in in all likelihood. They are just the “new” links that everyone put on CC about a week ago. The old method was unreliable as it all had to do with what broswer you were using, if you had popupblocker on. etc etc… The new one on Camel website for both RSVP and enrollment seem very reliable so far :)</p>
<p>Yes, with newer versions of firefox, by selecting “admitted applicants,” you can get to the admitted students boxes, but they did not work for us until after my son was admitted. I believe that’s how the “backdoor” links were originally discovered. But it’s faster/easier just to go to the camel link for enrollment posted everywhere here.</p>
<p>ETA: cross-posted with mongoose above: yes, the camel link is much more direct, with any browser.</p>

<p>For the third link i typed in my info, and then it took me to an error page, but when i hit back it took me to the enrollment form with all my information filled out? Did this happen to anyone else?</p>
<p>@ arizona10 - Followed your lead and got the same result, with the detail that it looks like its a spring admission (which is more than OK by me, if it’s true)</p>

<p>I tried and it didn’t work, it just gave me invalid, I’m gonna stop trying backdoor because I’m afraid they monitor it hahahah</p>

<p>I am currently at the “forwarded” status, it changed earlier in the week after I was at “fall grades” for forever. AND NOW THE THIRD LINK WORKS!! It has my name and everything filled out. Does this mean I might be in!??!</p>
