Exploding with worries here!!!

I see that schools such as Culver Academy in Indiana have a very low acceptance rate. I was wondering what kind of grades should I get and what types of extracurriculars I need. Should I volunteer? Maybe I could tutor or work at the library? I don't know. Somebody help before I explode with worries!

1st, don’t worry that much that isn’t going to make the process any better. Second, don’t start doing other EC’s just to get into the school. AO’s will spot it in your interview and it won’t go over well. I’m familiar at all with Culver but for all schools in general, do as best as you can in grades, SSAT and make sure your letters are good. If you are fake the AO’s will spot it so make sure to be you in your application. Last, again make sure to relax. This is stressful for all of us and everything will work out on M10.
