<p>I got an email for "all the world's a stage" as well. It's nice to know where I'll be living next year, hahaha.</p>
<p>i got into the writing new york floor.</p>

<p>I got into All The World's A Stage, too...</p>
<p>I'm sort of wishing I'd joined an Exploration, but I didn't because I didn't want to be in a dorm where the whole floor held the same type of people....am I the only one who thinks this way?</p>
<p>Well the thing is, it's only one interest that binds everyone together. There's no restrictions on anything else. It's a blend of different schools, backgrounds, and beliefs, so I don't think that it's true an exploration program will yield all the same type of people.</p>
<p>But an interest usually has something to do with the type of person you are; so more than likely if you join the Women's Rights floor (not that such a things exists at NYU), you'll be with a bunch of female feminists, you know? </p>
<p>ok. well, explaining my meaning has made me feel better about my not joining an exploration, even though you probably will have more fun overall, what with the sustained peace and all that :)</p>
<p>both of those are at goddard...right? so is that the only dorm that's out? i'm hoping for world religions or action... has anyone heard anything about either of those?</p>
<p>I hope this doesn't mean that I'm not in Big Apple, Big Screen. D:</p>
<p>Don't worry! I sent an email to the person in charge of Explorations and she said they only ones that are being made known are the ones that require the students involved to all take the same Writing the Essay class together. So if that's not you (Gotham and AtWaS, I believe), or you are in Tisch/GSP (and therefore have to take another course), you will find out June 30th.</p>

<p>nobody from tisch has found out. they only told people who have to take the special linked WTE course with explorations (ATWAS and Gotham), and tisch students have to take a special tisch WTE, so they werent told yet (I only found out cuz I emailed and asked)</p>
<p>i think that generally if you applied you got in, cuz i dont think many people apply for explorations.</p>

<p>i heard the magic date is june 30th... if we really do find out earlier than regular housing applicants (which i think we do... right?) then i feel badly for them- they have a crazy long wait</p>
