<p>Well, it can...I read another site(one about law school) fairly often, and right now every one has their feathers rumpled because a few people on that board found out that adcomms from a few of the schools they applied to conversed about applicants before they offered admissions. Furthermore, several adcomm people have confirmed that they DO read websites where applicants post...mainly to see what the opinion of the school is, but also to see what certain applicants are saying.</p>

<p>Moral of story: yes, they know and may use the info on what other schools you applied to. AND-don't post anything too personally identifying on message boards.</p>

<p>how will expressing a great love for the school during the scholarship interview affect their decision?? :D</p>

<p>Yeah...I really do LOVE USC...I just hope I sounded genuine in my interview, not cliche.</p>
