<p>Hey Guys! I applied to UNC EA and I figured I would start a thread for anyone that has/have applied to UNC to express their feelings! </p>
<p>I am so NERVOUS. it is my top school and ULTIMATE dream school!!!!!</p>
<p>I applied EA and I want it!</p>
<p>I’m an OOS and I applied EA and my ACT score is a little low (30). Everything else is exceptional, but I’m so nervous!!!</p>
<p>I’m in state and I hope I get in. It’s really not my top school but it would be awesome to have that option :)</p>

<p>Applied EA OOS. It’s not my top school, which is (Rice), but I’m excited about UNC, since all my other applications are regular decision. I’d love to get in so that I would have it as an option.</p>
<p>Hey guys, I applied to UNC in the past. Just to let you know the results usually come out a few days early, like Jan. 15th or around there.</p>
<p>That’s terrifying… I could know in 4 days! They came out late last year though, I believe… </p>

<p>I applied EA OOS and I can’t even take it right now, I’m counting the days till the best/worst day of my life lol.</p>
<p>I’m in-state and pretty sure I’m going to get in, but I’m worried because they don’t have all my admissions material (completely their fault, sent in multiple times and then they lost it). But hopefully it’s not necessary for a decision! I’m definitely planning on stocking up on UNC clothing if/when I get accepted. :)</p>
<p>And the original date for decisions was the 15th, but they moved it back to the 21st. I doubt they’re gonna release them earlier because of the number of applications.</p>
<p>OOS, 3.6 GPA at a top public hs in new hampshire and i got a 2110 on my SATs. Didn’t apply EA, nervous as hell, gotta wait til March :/</p>

<p>Since the results are online, are they posted at 12 am jan 21 or at a certain time that day?</p>
<p>You guys they always say that it will be later than it is. Just keep checking the blog. They usually put the decisions up on myUNC early. I found out the Friday before at like 4 pm.</p>
<p>where exactly do we find out if we are accpeted or not on the unc page? is it under our to do list? or should we be checking elsewhere on the page…</p>

D is OOS, 33 ACT/2190 SAT, 4.2 GPA - - have no idea what her chances are…just ready to find out!</p>

<p>Update on First-Deadline Decisions
With nine days to go before our first notification date, we write to thank all of the 14,000 first-deadline candidates who honored Carolina by applying for admission. Over the last three months, as weve read your applications one by one and over and over again, weve been steadily impressed by your achievements and your potential. We have also been humbled by your patience. You have borne this long wait with grace and good humor, and we are grateful.</p>
<p>We expect to finish on time our evaluations of first-deadline candidates whose applications are complete. If you applied first deadline and your application is complete, we plan to post your decision on MyUNC on or around January 21, 2011. We expect letters to arrive by mail at around the same time or shortly thereafter.</p>
