<p>LMAO wow I feel bad for not having noticed that but I just glimpsed over it.</p>
<p>Yeah, Cornell's not the first. I think practically every school I've applied to / considered applying to has made some sort of grammatical error.</p>
<p>Just helps to remind you - don't worry about it. These people are not perfect and typically aren't the academic superstars of their community. ;)</p>
<p>It seems some schools extend their deadlines because people begin to apply, then forget about it, then they hit march 5th and go "oh $#%@!". This way, they can still apply which may mean another batch of top students for some schools. UVA extended their deadline by two weeks and sent out an email to everyone who had started an app but not completed it, so other schools probably do the same.</p>
