Have extended those deadlines to dates ranging from 11/4-11/8

call if you have a question to your particular school...

That sounds great!

The U. of Maryland’s website indicated that it was extending the deadline by one week for affected areas only. However, it did not list what it considered an affected area. Of course, there is no way to contact the admissions office. They are not answering their phones today.

So what is an affected area? The whole East coast? Only those school districts that closed today? Hard to tell what they mean by this.

^^send them an email or live chat online…that’s ridiculous without specification

In the meantime, College of Charleston is not answering phones at all and they have a deadline of tomorrow…waited on hold for 25 minutes

I started a thread on the College Admissions board.

If you guys get any info, please add it:

Hey rodney – thanks for posting this! I don’t have anyone in the game this fall, but a dear friend of mine whose D is applying ED was very grateful to hear about this.

No, no, no. This doesn’t mean they are going to push back on the notification, right? It would really mess up on sending out RD apps if ED shouldn’t work out. D2 submitted her ED on 10/8, there was no hurricane or snow storm on that day.
