Extended Waitlist

Does anyone have any inside word or update about the extended waitlist yet? Anything at all might assuage the stress!

Sorry, Conflicted. I am right there with you. I have been waiting to get rejected since the EA round. Sigh…

Does anyone know if we are offered preferential transfer admission?

No news here either.

I just got off the extended waitlist for the College. A very nice admission’s officer called earlier today, asked me about my interest level, and told me my financial aid offer.

I committed a couple hours later!

Congratulations, Junior Mint! I know of you from the Fordham board. The last I read, you had decided to go to the University of Virginia. I know how much you were hoping to get in to Georgetown. It pays to persevere! You and my son will be at the Hilltop in August. Good luck!!

Awesome news. Congrats

JuniorMint - Congrats and welcome to the Hilltop. Our son absolutely loves being a Hoya.

Congrats, JuniorMint - as others have already stated…welcome to the Hilltop and the Hoya family!! Our daughter just finished her freshman year in MSB and believes Gtown was the absolutely correct choice for her in every aspect. Make the next four years magical! Hoya Saxa!

Thank you, omzac! I remember you from the Fordham board too! I guess I just like my Jesuit schools. If I remember correctly, your son is a pre-med student, so I will more than likely run into him! Thanks again!

Thank you!

Thank you as well! I am visiting the campus today (I just moved to DC from Washington)!

Thank you, and congratulations to your daughter for making the right decision! Hoya Saxa!
