Extensive Travel Experience, Activity?

On the common app section for activities, would international travel fall under this category?

Since the age of eight, I've traveled to more than 30 countries and have flown a total of 400,000 miles. For any given year, I know how many weeks I've traveled, but what would I put for the number of hours?

So I guess my question is, how do I articulate this in the Activities section?

Is your traveling in the context of an activity (or did you do something upon having seen these other countries), or it is just family vacations? If the latter, you’re certainly very fortunate, but having well-off parents who can afford to take you around the world is not an EC in and of itself.

I am not from a wealthy family, but my parents believed my education occurred outside of the classroom as well. We as a family, found a way to use solely frequent flyer miles to book our flights.

I guess my question is, the traveling in itself, as an extension of my general education, is that considered an activity?

For example, we were learning about Anne Frank and we read her diary in the third grade, and on my first trip to Europe, we visited Amsterdam, and her house, the attic where she hid.

I would say “no” to using it in the activities section. However, if you can find a way to use the experiences (or one of the experiences) as an essay - then that would be appropriate.
