External Recommendations?

I have two people outside of my high school writing some recommendations for me. One of them is a US Senator who I worked for over the summer for about 12 hours a week and we became good friends and talked a lot. Another is a Johns Hopkins U professor who I was able to meet at an extracurricular event and we became good friends and we have kept in contact since. But both of these generous people have sent in their recommendations after the 1/1 deadline because they were out of office or on holiday break for the holidays. Will this be okay or will you not look at the recommendations because they were sent after 1/1?

Letters of recommendation may be sent after the deadline. They need to be received no later than Jan. 15 to us to be able to guarantee that they will be added to your application folder and reviewed for admission. Any documents received after Jan. 15, we can not make that guarantee (except for mid-year reports obviously).

Thank You..
