I've gotten a few defferals and rejections from the colleges i applied to so far and i'm worried about the ones i haven't heard from yet.

is there anything "extra" i could send to admissions at schools that dont mail out their decisions until march (like extra letters of recommendation, another essay, etc?)

i feel like if i show how much i want to get in, it might help my chances, i just dont know what is considered annoying/overkill and what might help.

the schools i'm the most worried about are syracuse and university of delaware.

I would consider sending an update to the schools that deferred you if you have something significant (an award, accomplishment, etc.) to add to what you have already sent in, but I would not send in unasked-for materials to your other schools, they may or may not take it positively.

However, you should still look around this site for a few minutes to find a broad variety of opinions besides my own on this topic.

Good luck with your apps!

thanks for the advice but WHAT IF i dont have any accomplishments or special awards since i applied...would an extra essay just **** everyone off? i'll write it and then put it up

How about mid-year grades? Did you send those before the deferral. You could write a note pointing out how your grades have gone up or held steady and you just wanted them to be aware you are still interested in attending.
