Extra Class or Extra Year of Sport

I am deciding if I should take multi-variable calculus at a community college next year because if I do, I might not have the time to do cross-country.

In the eyes of the adcoms, is it better to have a sport or a class at community college?

Bump! Bump!

Can you take the course and use the distance between home, high school, and community college as your training run?

comunity college, because colleges want 4 years of math

Cross Country is only one season. If you do decide to do it, it would be a little difficult to jungle, but just for a quarter of the school year. I’d say go for it. It’ll be worth it in the end.

The nearest community college is like 20 miles. I am only on the JV team, do you think colleges would even care?

Do you care if you do cross country or not? If you love cross country, then you should still do it. You shouldn’t do something just because all you want to do is impress colleges. I think colleges do care though. They like to see well-rounded people who aren’t interested solely in academics.
