<p>Are there any top schools that find extra curricular activities very important? I'm not expecting the ec to carry me into admission, but just to increase chances. Basically what I'm asking for is just a list of non data driven schools. Thanks</p>
<p>Most highly selective schools are partially EC-driven, as well as many LACs.</p>
<p>I don’t know of any schools where ECs will compensate if your grades or test scores are really low, but like Catria said most top schools/LACs value them enough that they would pick you over somebody who is equally qualified in terms of grades/SATs if you had the better ECs.</p>
