Extra curriculars prior to 9th grade

<p>If we have ECs that we participated from before 9th grade up until the end of 9th grade, for the UC app, do I just check 9th grade and put in the box that I participated in this from 19-- to 2003 (9th grade) ?</p>

<p>And, for hours participated, does it include hours spent practicing the activity? (Like spent 1 hour a day practicing piano at home, 1 hour practicing with teacher = 7 hours a week?)</p>

<p>They only care for your high school activities, so putting the years won't help...</p>

<p>Hours spent on doing anything involved with that activity, so you would be right (but wouldn't it be 1x7 + 1 = 8?)</p>
