<p>I am currently going into 8th grade, trying to get into Phillips Academy. I took the SSAT and got a 2280 (97th percentile). I'm looking for some extra curriculars to match that. I was wondering what EC's you guys all do/did. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!</p>
<p>Don’t just put extra-curriculars for resume value. Schools can see right through that, if you only have one year of experience. Just be yourself, and if you find something you enjoy, do it!</p>
<p>Schools are impressed by DEPTH of your interests, not BREADTH-- an activity you have done with passion for years matters. </p>
<p>If you suddenly have 20 new EC’s in the last year alone, it’s obvious to anyone that it’s just resume padding…</p>
<p>Continue doing whatever interests you/whatever you have been doing. Then focus on your essays which are equally important and could be the deciding factor. Good luck!</p>
