Extra letter of rec question.

A few of the colleges on my list only required 1 teacher rec to go along with the counselor rec. However, I stupidly had BOTH of my letter-of-rec teachers send the rec to those schools. Will it hurt my chances that those school will get TWO teacher eval/rec things, even though they only require one?

Probably not. They probably would focus on just one letter and might not read the second. A healthier approach would be to not think about it, because you can't do much about it now.

Well thanks. And yeah i'll try to keep it off my mind.

Go on a mission to intercept the mail before it gets there. Your mission begins now.

It won't matter. The advice about not sending multiple letters of rec because it's annoying applies to overzealous students who send in 10 letters of rec to each school with letters from all sorts of people ranging from teachers to counselors to coaches to ministers to therapists to their private SAT tutor. Don't worry, your one extra rec won't hurt you a bit. Assuming it was a good rec, it might even help!
