Extra Letter of Recommendation

I have a Physics teacher who knows my academic talent well and also have an Math instructor who has taught me Diffy Q/ Linear Algebra/ Multvariable Calculus and is doing a research project with me.

Can my Physics teacher be my science teacher who fills out Evaluation A, and my math instructor be a supplementary recommendation?

Would it be wise to send in an extra letter, since my math instructor will be able to talk about my interests in mathematics and the extra effort and commitment I have made to attend those math classes?

I also have my Science bowl coach/ Science club sponsor who has known me for the past 5 years who will be able to write about my personal growth over the past 5 years and my leadership qualities as a Science Club President and Science team captain.

But what should I do, since this would mean 2 supplementary letters of recommendation that I feel is not redundant and is relevant.

if they really do show something more than your regular two eltters than by all means SEND THEM. MIT DOES NOT LOOK DOWN UPON READING EXTRA STUFF IF THEY GIVE GOOD INSIGHT ON YOU. I KNOW CAUSE I READ TONS FO THEIR BLOGS.

If you send 10 recommendation letters that cover what two could’ve, Admissions will cry. But one or two supplementary ones that shows another dimension are certainly fine.

Would it be appropriate to give the math instructor, physics teacher and science club sponsor the Evaluation form A?

You can have them fill out the official recommendation form, or you can have them write free-form letters – either is fine.

From Matt’s blog, [here](http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/the_freshman_application/supplemental_materials.shtml):

The post was very good.

I have a question too…Ι have extra recommendations for people that they are working in universities, but they are more than four people…is that bad??

you are writing 4 letters or you are getting letters from 4 people? Your question is very ambiguous.
