My school has extra long beds in dorms and I was looking for XL Twin sheets today in a few stores (Walmart, Target etc.) but the only sizes they had were "Twin", "Queen", "King" and "Full". I know the regular twin size will be too short, but won't the other ones be too large? Where can I get XL twin sheets? Where did you get yours?

Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

I got mine at Ross. The XL ones are more difficult to find, and are usually mixed in with 'back to college' type areas rather than in with the rest of the bedding. Bed Bath & Beyond may be a good place to check once they start with advertising all the back to college type stuff.

Pretty much anywhere that sells back to school stuff. Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Linens-n-Things, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I saw some really pretty hot pink xl twin sheets at Wal-mart yesterday. I'm probably going to get mine from Bed, Bath, and Beyond though.

HA !! The "sponsor" banner on the left side of the screen right now has 5 ads for XL sheets, including Linens4you.com.

Heh, I got them from Residential Hall Linens.

they'll have them at target as it gets closer to move-in time ... probably starting in a few weeks.

Yeah, I know Target will have them After August 4. They'll probably have them before that though, but their "back to school rush" starts August 4, so I know they'll have them by then.

Macy's home.

My local Target has them right now. In fact, I was looking at them about 30 minutes ago.

They already have some at Target. I'm sure the selection will get better as it gets closer to back to school time, but Target is already gettying college dorm stuff out.

I've found normal large sheets fit perfectly fine on so called "extra long beds." The thing about the beds is they are thin, so a sheet made for a taller bed fits, or at least it did for me. I go some JCPenny sheets for like 10 bucks, 2 sets is all you need also. You'll probably end up changing them once a month or so if you arent lazy and you will end up not washing the 2nd set until you need them.

linens-n-things has the BEST selection and they have good prices. also, you can get your bath caddy, pillows, etc...all at one place!!

Check out Meryvn's. I bought 2 sets at 12.99 (sale price) each but they run out quickly.

At Bed, Bath, and Beyond, the Beyond section always confuses me.

/obvious joke.

Do we have to have XL twin comforters as well? I've found the sheets at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but the selection for the comforter's isn't that great.

definitely go for the xl-twin sheets, but regular twin comforters are fine.

JC Penney's online also has them. Good color choices as well. Lots of sheets, comforters, blankets, mattress pads, and towels, many on sale.

boscov's will have them if you live near one.

Was at JC Penney's yesterday. XL twin sheets, blankets and comforters are on sale. (only $15 for 250 count sheets which felt pretty nice) Too bad I had already bought them from Residential Hall Linens, which was probably more expensive. But I liked their manly colors, and opted for them after checking BB&B since they seemed to only have girly styles. I wasn't impressed by the comforters at Penney's, though. The colored side was of that fake suede fabric which I think will collect a lot of lint (the store model did have fuzzies on it)
