Hey everyone!
I'm applying to SFS Regualr decision and I was wondering if any of you EA applicants, (it doesn't matter which school you applied to) sent in an extra recommendation letter. I was thinking of sending one from my music teacher. What do you guys think?

I sent an extra rec, cuz I applied to the language department for Spanish, and also to the pre-med program. So I had to send in a rec from my Spanish teacher and a science teacher. I don't think they will penalize you for sending in an extra rec, but what they don't want to see is 50 recs from everyone you know and their mom. Just make sure the music teacher rec is going to add something to your app.

I sent in two extra recs, didn't help me, lol

I sent in an extra letter of recommendation from my band director, plus one from a summer program I did...I got in.

I only sent in one recommendation, from my French teacher (because I applied to the FLL as a french major). I didn't send in any others, but I guess just her's was good enough!

By the way: My mom and my spanish teacher (the one who wrote my rec) work together, and my mom told me that the rec letter was the best letter she'd EVER read...so it definitely helped. (the teacher won't let me read it till May) I've had a class with her every day for four years, and it made a BIG difference. When you get your recommendation, even if it's only one, make sure it is from a teacher with whom you've established a good repore, and especially one that you've had for a few years.

I sent one from my AP US teacher, one from my student gov advisor (who is like a second mom to me) and one from my principal (who is like a second dad to me). So 2 extras total. (I was accepted)
