Extra recommendation?

Sorry if there's already a thread like this.

The schools I'm applying to require two recommendations, which I'll get from two teachers at my Swedish school. However, I was an exchange student in America two years ago, and I've been in contact with my favorite teacher there these last two years, and I'd like to have her write a recommendation for me too, both because I think she'll write a good one and because I'd like to show I did well when I lived abroad.

Will colleges be okay with an extra recommendation or will they think I'm trying too hard or something like that?
I'm applying to Middlebury, Macalester and Carleton.

One supplemental is fine as long as it's strong and brings out a different aspect of you than the required two. It sounds like a supplemental LOR from your US teacher would be a good addition to your application.

Thanks for replying :)

Would I just had another teacher to my common app school form thing? or should it be sent in separately?

Stick to one at most

One extra?

That would be the only supplemental one.

you can either attach it to your common app or have her send it separately. it might be better to do it through common app, just for ease...
