I want to get into a committed medical program college. Is it true that I should only be doing clubs that relate to science? I am in a model UN club and it is one of my main clubs (a lot of my awards and leadership is from here). My sister says that when I am applying for committed programs for med they will frown upon the fact that I am "wasting my time" with something that has nothing to do with medicine. Is this true? Will colleges think that it is good that I am doing model un or should I try to get these opportunities from a club that is more related to medicine?
