Extracurricular help on UC application

Hey there,

I am filling out the activities and awards section on the UC app. I am on the category “Coursework Other Than A-G”.
The example they provided for this section included a weekend Chinese school.
I did a weekend confirmation program for 2 years at my church but does that even count as a extracurricular ?

Moreover, I am listing it as “weekend Catholic school” so would it be bad to include religion as my extracurricular?

You are under “Coursework other than A-G”, this means classes not EC’s. Example, my son did a week long C++ programming summer course prior to Senior year. He listed the course in this section.

@Gumbymom so would my church school be an extracurricular activity? Is it also bad to include religion in there or should I just not mention it at all in case?

Church school is a fine EC and worth mentioning.
