After looking at the myriad of ECs that the typical CCer has, I'm really intimidated by what I should put on the Common App.

My school only has 200 students (K-12) and there aren't that many extracurriculars to be involved in besides sports. Even if a student does start a club, it's quite difficult to maintain it since the students are expected to cover all the finances by themselves and fundraising in a school as small as mine doesn't yield much profit.

Despite these setbacks, I was still able to have three principal ECs.
1) I was able to found a school newspaper that started out with 15 students and eventually grew to involve a third of the high school.

2) As President of NHS, I actually got the chapter from doing nothing at all to doing a myriad of things. We even got a budget from the school. (Thank God.)

3) When the psych. teacher doesn't have anything planned, she lets me come to class and teach social psychology to the students.

Even though the upper two ECs seem more impressive than the third, I'm passionate about psychology and teaching, so I thought my EC essay would be better spent on the third activity. I've only been allowed to do it on my senior year, but I think it would stand out among other generic EC essays. Or should I just do it on either NHS or newspaper?

Also, do students usually list every single EC they've been involved in? I don't wanna add my involvement in MUN (the President was lazy and didn't bother doing anything with the delegates), student council (it's a joke at my school), or XC (Varsity, but gave it up to help out the school community).

I'd be eternally grateful to anyone that could provide some advice! >_<
