Extracurricular section on application

<p>I am at the point on the undergraduate app where I must list my extracurriculars. It shows me a box to write all of my information. My question is, how do I format this information? Do I bullet (hyphen)? Or do I list in sentences? </p>

<p>Example:
Band, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th</p>

<p>Library Volunteer- Summer 2012</p>

<p>Chem Club- 12th</p>

<p>OR</p>

<p>I was in band in grades 9th-12th, etc...</p>

<p>I have the same question for the part that asks about any programs that have shaped me academically. Thanks.</p>
