Extracurriculars for Computer Science

Hey CCers,
I'm interested in knowing what kind of computer science related EC activities I can do to improve my chances of getting into top schools. At the moment, I code and design websites for companies. Program android applications and upload them on market, for free. Teaching computer and programming to people at the local library. And I help out at my dad's business where I have to fix phones (screen, dock etc.), fix phone software issues, and many more. I also helped my dad with his old business where I had to convert a person's face into 3D.

I came to US 3 years ago(from Uzbekistan), therefore I couldn't participate in different activities because I could hardly understand and speak English(but now I'm taking apeng) and due to my family needs.

I'm really nervous when it gets to admissions. I have seen many people at college confidentials with nice college applications, and I feel like I won't stand a chance.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

anyone…?

find a local first robotics team if you can. Lots of scholarship money there too. Then there are a few competitions that people enter, but I do not remember what they are.

USACO[/url”>http://www.uwp.edu/sws/usaco/]USACO programming competitions are pretty well-recognized by colleges.

^^ that is one of the ones I was talking about.
