I’m curious as to what extracurricular activities past Ross applicants have participated in / would recommend for freshman year to strengthen their application. Thanks for any help!
There’s no one set of experiences/skills that admissions look for.
They want an interesting person with a story that signals they would be successful pursuing a BBA/using that BBA education in the larger world.
Do what you’re interested in and relate it to the business world.
Some people join frats, some get involved in a community, some do entrepreneurship or engineering, finance clubs or consulting clubs. Admitted students and their respective choices are diverse, and they look for that diversity.
TL;DR: Do what you love. If you can’t relate what you love to Business, maybe you shouldn’t get a business degree.
I’ve seen the backgrounds of a lot of my BBA peers on LinkedIn. There’s really no theme other than hardworking and motivated.
