I don’t know if any current BU students here have done this, but im very curious about it. I have volunteered for three years at a science center and I have done boy scouts, so i have quite a bit of volunteer experience. I have two questions for any and all BU students who might know people or know of the program.

What kind of commitment is it? Will i have to be running around trying to balance my time frantically? I am already doing the Federal Work Study…

I see there are scholarships offered for this project, how much could i potentially get? I took a flyer on orientation and it said only vague things like some partial or full. How hard are these to get and are they worth the time invested in comparison to the Federal Work Study?

I really would like to do one activity to broaden my social connections within BU when I attend there next fall. I am only worried that I will not be able to take the course load since I will be placed in some very hard classes Multivariate Calculus notably which gives me nightmares already…

Any input is appreciated (even those of your roommates/friends). This board has given very valuable information during this confusing yet exciting time!
