I have a question about the extracurricular activities part of the Common App-
Is it okay to insert a url into the description?
Will it have any positive effects (make my activity more credible) ?
It’s about my school’s student-run newspaper and inserting the url is much better than tryin to explain our whole concept.

The description is only for you to describe the activity. URLs should go in the additional information section.
Yes, you can insert URM on application.
