Extracurriculars question-- Urgent--- money vs service hours

Hi CC!
Looking for advice.
This summer I completed a 200 hour service project through a local selective leadership program. To compensate for my service, the organization will award me either 200 “official” service hours, which my school then records on my transcript, $750, or 100 hours and $375. Currently, I’ve done a lot of service which I haven’t bothered to “officially log,” bc i didn’t think colleges cared. Is there any evidence to the contrary? Like if I say I did a 200 hour summer service project, will colleges be confused that my school transcript only says ive done 50 hours? and would they care at all? I’m inclined to think not, but curious what you think. I also feel a little weird being paid for my volunteer work… but im considering taking half and half. What would you guys do? Any insights?
