I was watching a video about how to fill out the USF specific application and they said not to send any resumes, list of extra curricular…etc. I was very confused. Do they not ask for this information anywhere?
No. Applicants are considered individually on the basis of grades, rigor of curriculum, and standardized test scores. Essays and personal statements are neither required nor considered.
Does this mean that volunteerism, clubs, extra curricular, honor societies, aren’t considered?
These activities matter more if you’re applying for admission to the Judy Genshaft Honors College or some other academic program (a Living Learning Community, for example). Initial admission is based on the criteria I mentioned above.
