I've posted previously here before regarding my paucity of extracurriculars, but I thought I would take the time to try to list certain ones that I have in order to get feedback. Obviously my list is not very large or elaborate like many of the other CC members, but what do you guys think my chances would be with these ECs along with high gpa, test scores, and course rigor at schools such as upenn, duke, northwestern, washu, cornell, etc.

National Honor Society
National Art Honor Society (treasurer 10, vp 11)
National Spanish Honor Society (hopefully officer position 12)
A few other random clubs, no leadership
Volunteering after school clubs at elementary school
High School courses at Fashion Institute of Tech
Designed apparel for and helped organize my camp's team for the vision walk in NYC
Volunteered with raising money for Morry's Camp
Leader in Training at my summer camp
Helped raise money, organize, and promote KBS walk (5 years)

Now that I type it all out I have a longer list than I thought I would, and I'm sure I'm missing a few more not as significant activities. I feel like although I have a variety of activities, I am not committed really to one single thing and I don't know how that is looked upon by admissions.
Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated, thanks so much!!

It looks like you are involved, but a long laundry list of ECs isn’t going to impress anyone (including adcoms). Impact is what really matters. With that said, can you describe your impact for each of the ECs that you listed (ideally quantifying impact where appropriate)? For example, how much did you raise for Morry’s Camp and KBS walk? Trust me, I’ve been interviewing applicants for a top 10 school for the past four years. I know which applicants have actually made a difference in their ECs and which ones did activities just to beef up their profiles (and guess who usually ends up getting in).

For the Morry’s Camp program I believe we raised about $5,000. My friends and I decided to run charitable activities through my camp in order to raise money such as swimming laps in the pool or running laps on the track. By raising money we were essentially helping to send a child to camp, who otherwise would not have been able to afford to go. It was a very successful event and I believe will be continued in the upcoming summer at my camp again. As for the KBS walk, the Keeping Babies Safe organization is one that is very special to me, as it was started by my best friend’s family after she lost her younger brother in an unsafe crib accident. Over the years I have helped the organization through spreading awareness, gaining sponsors, designing and selling items to raise money, helping to organize the walk, and obviously attending it as well. Over the years the organization has gained a tremendous amount of support and has really spread throughout the nation.
With all this being said, I am hoping to gain more community service hours and obviously continue with all of my clubs and honor societies. Will this be enough or do colleges still want to see an even greater impact. Any ideas for how I can make a larger impact with any of these activities? Thanks!!
