Extracurriculars

I'm a freshman in high school and I am in no extracurriculars yet. I know, that's pretty bad. I just can't think of anything great I could do. I'm not athletic whatsoever and I'm not involved with the band/choirs. I play violin and piano, but that's about it. I'm a serious student but I don't stick out from the crowd and that really, REALLY concerns me. Any suggestions?
I'm interested in literature, sciences, and language.

Join a couple clubs, volunteer, and find something you like then stick with it!

That’s totally normal. Just think of what you love to do and do it! Don’t think about doing anything for college.

Ideas: get a job, start a business, start a club, volunteer places, join clubs, do school plays if you’re interested in that, etc.
Also, violin and piano are EC’s.

“Don’t think about doing anything for college.”

People always say this as if everyone has all these spectacular intellectual interests they would pursue freely if they didn’t feel they had to worry about college. If I didn’t think about college I wouldn’t be getting into any college. None of the EC’s people suggest ever sound fun to me. If I just did things I liked I’d be doing absolutely nothing.

Interested in sciences? Does your school have anything like a Science Olympiad?

Try something you would not usually do (it will expand your option), also try and start volunteering somewhere (the best option is to find a cause you are passionate about).
