Extracurriculars?

What extracurriculars do you guys do? I hope we aren't all study rats and at least get out of the house to engage our minds in something different.

I personally play the piano, tennis, and would play Ultimate frisbee all day long.

Chess, Debate, writing, AD&D, Magic the Gathering, Orienteering, biking.

Go to the gym, watch movies, used to play a lot of sports but that's slowed down some. oh, and i go to the gym. and work in a sports nutrition store (NOT GNC... hate that place) that's pretty fun. and interesting stories.

(gym is on there twice for a reason, i do that w/ the majority of what little free time i have)

Forensics, Mock Trial, Web Page Club, Model UN, etc...

Forensics, Soccer, Internship (Capitol Hill), Golf, and..... more soccer!!!

XC/Running/Track, piano, ...

Playing soccer my entire LIFE, Jesus Christ it's tiring....playing both school and then club this spring, then I'm pretty involved in this Community Service organization....we have a lovely community garden con papas, tomates, limons, etc.

And after soccer, I practice being cool as much as possible.

...because you need to.

Band consumes my life. Literally. Occasionally I'm in our director's office long after he and everyone else in the parking lot have left the school. And I'm in a ton of music groups outside of school. And I'm a mock trial addict. Forensics people, what events do you do? I'm not in it, but all my friends are. I love referring to it as NFL around normal people and getting them all confused.

political groups, piano, band

I do Forensics (Congress) and Mock Trial as my primary academic extracurics. I used to play soccer, and do play tennis now (though I am not very good) I'd love to play.

Tennis, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and a bit of theatre I like that fact that U of C has open casting

Gahh I feel like I'm filling out the application all over again...
Most important clubs: Asian-American Club, Key Club, Debate (NFL! I did two years of policy, but am relaxing this year with poetry, duo interp, and extemp), Young Democrats of America, French Club, independent newspaper

Outside of school I'm an intern at the state university, a dance group member, hospital volunteer, self-employed henna artist, sitar/piano player, photographer, writer, and a member of the theater

I used to be in soccer, badminton, volleyball (just realized they all involve nets), and yoga (no nets)

But perhaps most importantly, I participate in chocolate eating contests on a regular basis

I didn't really have much to brag about in terms of EC's when I applied.

soccer, tennis, newspaper writer/editor, chess club

chess, exhibition drill team, colorgaurd, track (hurdles-sprints), writing/ newsletter, JROTC leadership staff, academic challenge team, math team

debate, elocution, Badminton, Soccer, Cricket, Shipwreck, School magazine, basketball and others on occasions

Baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, work, summer internship (40 hr weeks/10 hour days), community service, mock trial competition, church youth group, white-supremacist club (president of)......JK. but seriously, i cant stand people who have clubs like Indian Association or whaterver. GMAB

Varsity Soccer, Varsity Track, Club Soccer... (anyone else getting recruited for soccer?) , working out, community service (absolutely love volunteering), research, Chem club president, clarinet, staff writer for newspaper, and just hanging out!!

Man, you guys are all crazy with your numerous ECs, I feel like I've been wasting the past 17 years of my life.

or enjoying it :)
