Extracurriculars

I am a bit confused as to how exactly I should convey my extracurriculars in my application. I read somewhere that some students email their resume to the university, but I also read that some just cover them in their short answer responses. For example, I specifically want to talk about my job, and my involvement in a club at my school. Should I just focus on those two things in two of the short answer questions? Am I supposed to talk about more, or is it okay if I just focus on those two (I have more ec’s but those are definitely the most meaningful ones). Also, teacher recommendations are not very considered correct? Like my application won’t be hurt by not submitting them? Sorry for all the questions, I am just very used to the Common App because that is what every other school I am applying to uses!

In lieu of an essay or personal statement, we ask interested applicants to answer a series of short answer questions. You can find more information about what we are looking for here: https://oafa.pitt.edu/apply/admissions-process/freshmen/
