I have a question about if college admissions would rather see 1 activity you did across freshman through senior year? Since, I have been very weak on the Extracurricular side of things, the only club/activity I joined was Student Council, and since freshman year I have been a part of the club. As well as, taken on an officer role, which has been Treasurer. I’m planning to go all 4 years with it. However, I was also thinking that since I’m starting Junior year, I should join at least 1 or 2 extra clubs? But, I’m not so sure if colleges would like me starting that late? I’d like any feedback/comments about my situation, thank you all.
Better late than never, but stick with student council too.
Some colleges don’t consider ECs or place less importance on them in deciding whether to accept you. You can find out by looking at their Common Data Set, usually found on their website.
